The Ashiko is played throughout sub-Saharan Africa and the Americas. It has three primary tones, bass, tone and slap, just like the djembe.This Ashiko has a 12" goatskin head. It is 24" tall and is made of rosewood which features is engraved with floral design. It is tuned by adjusting the cords.
