Gary Vernon attended the Philadelphia College of Performing Arts and has been a professional guitar instructor at Accent Music for over 23 years.   His experience and educational approach makes him an educator in demand. 

Gary’s students receive a thorough music education including reading, notation, and composition as well as performance.

When not teaching, Gary is in demand playing locally at venues such as Sullivan’s Steak House, the Rehobeth Jazz Festival and the Playhouse Theatre.

Gary’s playing experiences give his students valuable insight into the world of professional music.  He has worked with music greats as Bernadette Peters, Petula Clark, Tony Bennett, Al Martino, Lou Rawls, Wayne Brady, Betty Buckley, Eddie Homan, the Lawrence Welk Show, and many others.   He has also been the featured presenter at Accent Music Jazz Workshops.

Gary accepts students at all ability levels and in all genres and charges $25/half hour, payable monthly.
