Delaware's #1 Music Store Guitar Repair

Certified Gibson, Fender, and Martin Repairs and Restoration Work
Okay, so your prized ’58 just took a nasty fall.  Don’t fret – If you can get your guitar to us (see Shipping Instructions below), you know it will be fixed right.   Whether it’s a loose output jack, scratchy controls or something major, Accent Music is the place that will give your instrument the professional care needed to bring it back to its glory.

We know maintaining the authenticity of your instrument is important.  Before any new parts are ever used, we make all attempts to restore the old parts.  Quality workmanship is our hallmark.  Whether it’s cutting a new rosewood slab for a fret board and meticulously hand-cutting a radius, or replacing a solid maple top on your Les Paul or a top on your Martin acoustic, our experienced guitar specialists provide the skill, knowledge and care needed to repair and restore your instrument.

Under the leadership of Nick Bucci, Chief Guitar Technician, Accent Music Repairs and Restorations have the respect of the music industry.  All repairs / restorations are supplied with a certified factory certificate that shows the work was done professionally.  This is very important in maintaining your instrument value should you ever want to sell it.

Check this out:   A Les Paul Standard with an entire neck replacement and overall refinish in the process. Rather than just repairing the broken headstock, this restoration is undetectable once complete.

Quality Workmanship:  We have all of the molds, body shapes and styles for most Acoustic guitars ever made. Our jigs replicate replacement sides to your instrument with exact precision.
We also have original templates for many tops, brands, necks, and headstocks.  We have inlay and sound hole material and specifications again to either totally restore your guitar, or to match the repair work to the wear and condition of the instrument.

Shipping Instructions:

  1. After discussing your needs with our staff, ask for your Sales Ticket Order Number.  This number must be included in your shipping box, in your guitar, as well as written prominently on the outside of the shipping carton.
  2. Ship only in a hard-shell case.
  3. Remove any unnecessary items.
  4. Inside the guitar case include your full name /address/telephone/sales ticket order number.
  5. Place any additional parts in a separate, smaller box (this will go in the larger box along with the guitar).  Mark this smaller box with your name, order number, etc.
  6. Drop the tension on your guitar slightly.  (Loosen the strings)
  7. Put the whole case in a large plastic bag.
  8. Find a sturdy shipping carton that is 3 inches larger than your case - on all sides.
  9. Place some packing material (bubble wrap, packing peanuts, etc.) in the bottom of the box.
  10. Place your guitar in the box, bottom first and centered.  Fill in all the gaps around the guitar with packing material so it can’t move.   Don’t forget to include the smaller box of parts, if you have one.  Make sure the case isn’t touching the box on any side, even the bottom.
  11. Tape the box shut with some good shipping tape. Seal any of the seams with tape to protect against wet weather.
  12. Mark the outside of your box like this:
