With over 25 years of teaching, Accent's School of Contemporary Music is excited to present a new dimension to our educational offerings.
AccentLive! RockSchool teaches youth from 10-18 years of age in structured group rehearsals led by professional musicians. They learn everything they need to perform live gigs in front of real crowd complete with Professional Sound, Lighting, Recording and Video.
Quality instruction emphasizes creativity, proper techniques, musicianship, stage presence and performance.
Students participate in weekly rehearsals and multiple live concerts at the AccentLive Performance Center as well as other regional venues and events. Bands of 4 to 5 musicians are formed according to ability and style, and as they rehearse and perform, they grow together. Some gigs are paid and the students also learn the business aspects of maintaining a band as well. Some bands go on to perform on their own and develop a following.
Rock School Tuition - $165/mo. Includes weekly rehearsals and multiple performance opportunities.
Students currently taking private lessons at Accent Music receive a discounted tuition of $125/mo.
