Vic Holveck is one of the most sought-after drum instructors in the Tri-State area.  His formal training under the guidance of Jim Chapmin at the Manhattan School of Music, combined with his extensive touring and teaching experience provides his students with a depth of understanding and direction that is highly valuable.

 Mr. Holveck spent 15 years of his drumming career touring throughout the country with such famous musicians as Jimmy Clanton (1950’s sensation with 23 “Top 10” records…  The movie of his life is captured in the film “Teenage Millionaire”)  and Charlie Prose (Top of the Reef Club, St. Thomas).  Mr. Holveck was inducted into the Rockabilly Hall of Fame for recording one of “the” original legend tunes of the Rock and Roll era.  He recently re-recorded the original tune that became an inspiration for generations. 

 Mr. Holveck has over 32 years of teaching experience, the last 10 of which has been at the Accent Music School of Contemporary Music.  He teaches all styles including rock, jazz, bebop and classical/ traditional drumming techniques. 

 Many of Vic’s students have gone on to successful careers in music, including the recording, teaching and performance industries.  Some of his past students include Rich Degnars (Accent Music)  and Jeff Hobson (world-touring indie band, Spintoband).  Mr. Holveck is preparing to release his newest Rockabilly album to be released in Spring of 2011.

 Mr. Holveck teaches all levels and abilities and charges $25 / half hour payable monthly.
