This Banjira ektara string set contains 2 steel strings with looped ends and fits all our ektaras. The ektara uses only one of the strings, so the second string is extra. This same string set will work for the dotara, which is a very similar instrument that has two strings. The instrument is usually tuned to the root note in the composition being played, so the tuning may vary
