Deborah Adams received a Bachelor of Music Education, piano and choral concentration, in 1979 from Temple University in Philadelphia. She has been teaching piano, voice and flute
since 1985 in Delaware and Maryland. She
is a member of the Delaware State Music Teachers Association and the Music
Teachers National Association since 1985.
Lessons include theory, ear training, sight reading, improvisation, and will include
all styles of music to create a well-rounded musician.
Debbie is an experienced accompanist for
soloists, instrumentalists, church choirs, high school choirs, festivals,
concerts and recitals. She takes her experience as an accompanist and teaches
it to her piano students so that they can perform with others with confidence.
She has been Music Director, Worship Leader and
Choral Director at Heritage Presbyterian Church in New Castle, DE since
1989. Her duties have included directing
adult and children choirs, organizing and implementing children drama and
musical programs, Dinner theaters, and leading the worship team in worship.
Since 2005, she has been a member of the all
original jazz-influenced band, Pearl Street, where she is the keyboardist and
flutist. Along with her husband, Rick, she composes some of the compositions
for the band. Not only does she write for Pearl Street but also writes
contemporary and jazz piano compositions.

Lessons are $25 per lesson to be paid in advance
each month. All ages are welcome.
